How to distinguish products without plasticizers

It does not exist a labelling obligation for products that contain plasticizers or plastics. Manufacturers have marked their products according to packaging regulations, e.g.: polyethylene terephthalate (PET / 1), high density polyethylene (HDPE / 2), polyvinyl chloride(PVC / 3), low density polyethylene (LDPE / 4), polypropylene (PP / 5), polystyrene (PS / 6). These indicators have been placed in a triangle of three curved arrows.

If plastics are not labelled, you have to ask your retailer, wholesaler or manufacturer.

Phthalate-Free supports you in your choice of phthalate-free products. The quality seal optimises a better and reliable distinction among the diversity of plastics. A higher consumer protection is warranted.
