Production process |

The chemical industry in Western Europe produces one
million tons phthalates per annum. More than 90
percentages are used for the production of plasticizers.
The production, processing and storage of plasticizers
are subject to regulations. The production takes place
in closed factories, so that effects to the environment
are negligible. The converting plants in Western Europe
are equipped with post-combustions or air cleaner.
